Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Trade In Holdings (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the renovation project portal (the “Service”). The Service is a private tool used by Trade In Holdings (or a property manager) and the contractors it invites.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. Your name, phone number, and email; tax/identity documents such as W-9 forms; bids and other documents; photos and files you upload; messages and change orders; and line-item or scheduling details you enter.

Information collected automatically.When you upload a photo, we capture the device’s location (a geotag) and a timestamp to document where and when work was performed. We also collect basic technical and log data and use a cookie to keep you signed in.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • operate, provide, and maintain the Service;
  • facilitate communication between the property manager and contractors;
  • track project progress, documents, photos, payments, and records;
  • secure the Service and comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

Between participants.By design, information you submit for a project is shared with the other participants on that project (the property manager and that project’s contractor) as needed to provide the Service. Contractors are not shown the property manager’s private financial figures (such as the seller credit or margin).

Service providers. We use trusted vendors to run the Service — hosting and file storage and our database provider. They process information only to provide their services to us.

Legal & safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service. If the business is transferred, information may transfer as part of that transaction. We do not sell your information.

4. Location Data

Photos uploaded through the Service record the device’s location at the time of upload, along with a timestamp, so work can be verified. You can decline location access in your device/browser settings, though some features depend on it.

5. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service and maintain project records, and as required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your information as described below.

6. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, including access controls and owner-gated document access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices & Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your information. To make a request, contact us at the email below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, and the “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision.
